WEEKLY PROGRAMS

Age Well 1st Tuesdays 2pm-4pm Chat with Laura about Age Well resources!
Puzzle Contest 1st Tuesdays 5pm-7pm Bring your team of 2-4 to put the puzzle together faster than the other teams!
Knitting Club 2nd & 4th Tuesdays 5pm-7pm All abilities welcome.
Cribbage Night 3rd & 5th Tuesdays 5:30pm-7pm All abilities welcome.
Leaders are happy to teach new players!
Playgroup Wednesdays 10am Toys, puzzles, crafts provided.  BYO snack if you’d like.  Give your littles a chance to socialize and meet new friends!
Drawing Class Fridays 10am-11am Learn shading, perspective, faces, landscapes, and more in this 4-week class held every Friday in June.  Class limit 10–13 years old+
Artist’s Hour Fridays 11am-12pm Bring the project you’re working on and socialize with others!

Book Club May 28 at 5pm

We’ll be discussing “They Called Us Enemy” by George Takei for our first book in our “Identity” series. Copies are available at the library.

Poetry Reading June 7 at 1pm

Lady Madeline Rose will read from her latest book, “Love, Friendship and Family”.

Trash Talk June 11 at 5pm

Where does your trash actually go? Northwest Vermont Solid Waste Management District will explain with a Q&A to follow.

Grand Isle Farmers Market June 17 3pm-6pm

Visit all the Island librarians at the farmers market for crafts and everything you need to know about what’s happening this summer!

Make Music Day June 20 at 1pm

Bring your instruments and music stands for an open jam session.  All abilities welcome.

Mr. K-“Codes” June 23 at 1pm

Why were codes invented? How are they used?  Learn with us and take home your own code translator!

Book Club June 25 at 5pm

We’ll be discussing two books this month in our “Identity” series; “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” and “Always Remember” both by Charlie Mackesy.  Copies are available at the library.

WEATHER & LAKE CHAMPLAIN DATA

National Weather Service Forecast Office in Burlington, Vermont shows the North Hero Weather Forecast and latest Lake Champlain conditions.

USGS Lake Champlain Water Level Gage – Rouses Point, NY shares more information on the lake level and a live camera view of lake conditions provided by the United States Geological Survey.  The water level gage is located on Montgomery Street in Rouses Point, NY.

Lake Monster shows current Lake Champlain temperatures, levels, and local weather forecasts.
